Bob Arnold

Bob Arnold Robert Arnold is Founder and President of Arnold Standard Cos., a Management Consulting firm he established more than 30 years ago, specializing in Cost Control Services.

Mr. Arnold, a recognized cost control expert in the fields of Federal and State Excise Taxes, Employment Wage Incentives, Unemployment Insurance Taxes, and Workers' Compensation, speaks regularly before professional groups of accountants, attorneys, commercial and investment bankers, financial officers and executives. Mr. Arnold lectured on the unemployment insurance tax effects of mergers and acquisitions before the Graduate School of Business of Indiana University, CW Post and Hofstra University. He has authored several articles and papers on the above mentioned subjects.

Many "Fortune 500" companies have relied on his opinions and guidance for policy planning matters and his advice has been sought by Legislators of both Federal and State governments. His recommendations for legislative revisions to preserve certain trust funds were enacted into law.

During the last thirty years, Arnold Standard's clients have realized aggregate tax savings in excess of $500,000,000 which included more than $10,000,000 in excise tax savings. Mr. Arnold attended Adelphi University, and is a past President and current Board Member of the Institute of Management Accountants, Long Island Chapter.

Bob Arnold, Jr. is the Vice President of Arnold Standard Cos. His areas of expertise include Federal and State Excise Taxes, Federal and State Employment Incentives, Federal and State Unemployment Insurance Taxes, State Sales and Use Taxes and Insurance. Bob has consulted on many high-level policy issues involving mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions, resulting in more than $15,000,000 of savings for his clients.

Bob is also licensed by the New York State Insurance Department for Property & Casualty insurance, as well as Life, Accident and Health. He is President of Arnold Standard Risk Services, Inc.

Bob is currently the President of Long Island Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants and has been a member of the Board of Directors of the for several years, serving in many capacities. He also serves as webmaster for the chapter, as well as the Metropolitan New York Regional Council of IMA. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), New York State Association of Health Care Providers (NYSHCP), Home Care Association of New York State (HCANYS), Home Care Council of New York City (HCCNYC), Professional Insurance Agents of New York (PIANY) and Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New York (IIABNY).

In addition to volunteering his time to the IMA, Bob participates in other charity events and organizations on Long Island, particularly Long Island Blood Services where he helps to raise awareness of the need for donations as well as organizing and promoting Blood Drives.

Bob received his A.S. in Business Administration from Nassau Community College, where he was a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. He received his B.S. with majors in both Finance and Marketing from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
